Project Description:
The City of Roswell desired a Training Facility for their Fire and Police Departments. The 10,300 square foot Training Facility contains multi-purpose meeting rooms and classrooms for training seminars. As part of the public safety complex, that includes a fire burn building and a future indoor / outdoor firing range with explosions bunker, the facility also contains future laptop and docking stations. A fire truck pump bay was designed to provide vehicular instrumentation and serve as a physical training room for all city safety employees. Spaces include offices, classrooms, showers, locker rooms, and a break room. The facility houses the F.A.T.S. (Fire Arms Training System), a training tool that uses real life, interactive video display and infrared firearms, testing public safety personnel’s response to various situations.
