Engineers at HGA handle all responsibilities in project delivery from design development and contract document development (including computer aided drafting) to construction administration.

HGA is competent in all markets in the industry, thus the staff is exposed to many different types of design. Engineers at HGA will not find themselves cornered in one type of design or market. The principals at HGA make it a point to expose engineers to a wide array of projects.

HGA is more than a company—it’s a family. The average employee retention is 20 years and counting. You will find positive attitudes, relaxed atmosphere, and strong team camaraderie. The HGA family is close knit and it shows through the extra-curricular activities such as softball and bowling leagues, annual pool parties, and golf outings.

Staff engineers are fast tracked to project managerial roles. Engineers at HGA are given the responsibilities early on that may not be shouldered until several years into your career with other firms.

In the time of cubicles and shared work spaces, HGA provides employees with their own office. You will have the space and privacy to carry out your tasks at HGA.

The HGA family is not just concerned with the bottom line. HGA cares about the well-being of the employee. HGA offers excellent, competitive benefits that help to provide employees with sound health and peace of mind.

The benefits package consists of health, dental, vision, disability, dependent life, and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.

HGA offers a voluntary 401k program.

Employees enjoy generous paid holidays and progressively increasing paid vacation time with the ability to roll over vacation days not used in the previous fiscal year.

HGA provides Professional Engineers with professional development hours through seminars and lunch and learns.

Throughout the years, employees have enjoyed friendly, competitive golf outings dubbed “grudge matches” and client appreciation golf outings. In addition to the golf outings, HGA has boasted architectural and engineering softball league championship teams. The annual Christmas party is always a hit.
