DESCRIPTION

Haines, Gipson & Associates, Inc. provided the structural engineering services for the Shoal Creek Manor Apartment Homes development in Locust Grove, Georgia. The 3 / 4 split story building contains 66 – 2 bedroom, 2 bath units. The complex features a large community room, fitness room, computer room and an in-house leasing office. HGA met the “earthcraft” requirements by sizing and specifying finger jointed studs, engineered lumber beams and headers, and OSB roof sheathing. Complexities of this project involved an approximately 12’ tall foundation wall running the full length of the building and framing for non-stacking floor configurations.
