DESCRIPTION

Haines Gipson & Associates provided engineering services for a 2-story sanctuary addition to the existing facility. This 2-story 79,000 SF addition had a concrete framed sanctuary area with long-span steel joists supporting the roof. The irregular floor plan had many different roof elevations and projections giving the building a unique look. An elevated pedestrian bridge connected the old building with the new. The construction budget was approximately $13 million.
