Haines Gipson & Associates provided engineering services for a 3-story, approximately 660,000 SF parking deck with retail on the top level for CHM, LLC. The lower 2 levels provide parking for the Publix, Walmart, and associated retail above. A dual lane truck bridge serves as the ramp to allow delivery access to the Anchor tenants at the rear. This award winning development overlooks the Tennessee River and sits on the site of an abandoned “brown site”. The construction type was a hybrid precast system and the foundations were 4’ to 5’ caissons to bedrock. The construction budget was $48M. The project was completed in 2014.
