Description
HGA provided structural engineering services for the 143,000 sq-ft Americold ASRS Food Distribution facility located in Rochelle, IL. HGA provided structural design for the truck and rail dock buildings, the ASRS buffer freezer building, and consultation for the ASRS building slab and foundations. The docks and freezer building roofs were designed to support heavy snow drift loads, along with the heavy mechanical equipment and penthouses necessary to keep the ASRS building interior temperature at or below -10 degrees.
