HGA provided engineering services for a 10,000 sq-ft Oncology Building Addition with two linear accelerator (radiation) vaults.

Project Challenges:

• Cast-in-place structure w/ steel roof
• 2 feet thick walls for radiation protection
• 6 feet beams
• 3 feet thick concrete slab supported by battered piles
• Settlement sensitive machinery
• Coordination of walls / foundation with existing foundations
