The Westminster school, occupying 550 students, is composed of grades six, seven, and eight. The junior high school included 100,000 sq-ft of new construction as well as renovation of the Georgia Woodruff Library building. The school features discipline-specific classrooms, including six science labs, two visual arts studios, and a drama room. Every classroom is well lit with large windows that expose students to an abundance of natural light and interesting views of the building’s numerous outdoor patios and spaces. Students enjoy an outdoor amphitheatre, a 600-seat multipurpose room, three computer labs, a student project room, dance studio, choral music suite, and a state-of-the-art science and art commons area. The lockers are housed in six “locker commons” areas; one for each gender and grade level.
