Experience: Scott came to Haines, Gipson & Associates, Inc in January 1998 after spending one year of post-graduate work with Ogden Environmental and Energy Services in Oak Ridge, TN. Scott's engineering responsibilities include due diligence, site planning and layout, re-zoning/ entitlements; utility/infrastructure routing and design, grading and storm drainage, erosion & sedimentation control design and inspections, hydrology studies with storm water management facilities, roadway design, drafting with AutoCAD / Land Development Desktop and Civil 3D, project management and full site permitting. Additionally, Scott is responsible for minor in-house IT management and maintenance for the Civil Department. With over 14 years of design and management experience, Scott leads a 3-member engineering team whose project list includes: Okatie Crossing (290-acre Commercial Development in Hardeeville/Hilton Head, SC; Perimeter Place (40-acre Multi-Use Development in Dunwoody, GA); Henry Town Center Phase I and II (60-acre Commercial Site in McDonough, GA); Princeton Lakes/Camp Creek Phase II (140+ acres of Infrastructure, Commercial and Multi-family residential in southwest Atlanta); Victory Square Re-Development (35-acre Commercial Re-Development in Savannah, GA); East Village (40-acre Commercial Development in Roswell, GA); Fort Oglethorpe, GA Home Depot and Shops (±20-acre Commercial Site); Park Place Re-Development (±15-acre Mixed-Use Re-Development in Dunwoody, GA); Norcross BJ’s Wholesale Club (±12-acre Commercial Development in Gwinnett County, GA); Hooters Restaurants of Canton and McDonough (±1.5-acre outparcels); Superman Coaster and Go Kart track at Six Flags Over Georgia (Cobb County, GA); LaVista Road Target (±12-acre Commercial Development in Dekalb County, GA); Horizon Baptist Church Addition (Gwinnett County, GA); Waterford on Piedmont (High Rise Condo tower in Atlanta, GA); McDonough Marketplace (±50-acre Commercial Site in McDonough, GA); and Kroger and Shops of Oxford, MS (±15-acre Commercial Development).
