Haines, Gipson and Associates is proud to announce that we are part of the Design Team of Pieper Obrien Herr Architects, Inc. The proposed construction consists of a new 2-story 60,000 sq-ft academic building, 250 vehicle parking spaces, and the required infrastructure improvements to support the facility. Additional improvements will include new stormwater quality devices, new stormwater conveyance systems, modifications to Diez Road and Cloud Springs Road, along new sidewalks, hardscape and landscape areas along the site.

AUGUSTA SHERIFF'S OFFICE

Project Description:
Haines, Gipson and Associates is extremely happy to announce that we are part of the Design Team of Clark Patterson and Lee that was selected to design and construct the new 35,000 sq-ft. Augusta Sheriff's Office. The project is located on a 2.88 acre site near Walton Way and Fourth Street. The new building will house the Sheriff's Administration, Civil Division, and Criminal Investigations.

Grady High School Stadium Renovation and Expansion

Atlanta, GA

Grady Stadium was designed in 1948 by the prominent architect Richard Aeck and is considered a masterpiece of modern engineering expression. Renovation of this historic site includes overall concrete repair of the stands while providing a new waterproof finish to both the East and West stands and light towers. Column repair is essential as many are showing major deterioration and distress. A new addition being planned underneath the seating area of the West Stands to increase the size of the ROTC training facilities by 6,000 square feet while a new handicap accessible mezzanine is being added adjacent to this area. New elevator towers and ramps are being added to both the East and West stands along with new ticket booths on both East and West entrances.

Gwinnett County Justice Administration Center and Parking Deck Facility

Project Description:

Haines, Gipson and Associates is excited to announce that is part of the team that was selected by the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners to design and provide Construction Administration Services for an addition to the Gwinnett County Justice and Administration Center. Our scope of engineering services will be to design 100,000 sq. ft. (or more), multi-story courthouse expansions, and new courthouses. This facility will be located at 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia. Although the facility has not been programmed, it is expected to include an addition of approximately 200,000 square feet and parking for an additional 700 to 1,000 vehicles.

Buford Community Center

Buford, GA

 

Project Description:

HGA will provide the engineering services for a new 34,000 s.f., two story community center.  Site components will include an interactive fountain, an outdoor amphitheater, as well as numerous plazas and a pavilion for gathering spaces. The building will include a formal ballroom, a museum, classroom space, as well as a 280 seat theater with an elevated balcony and fly lofts.  The roof structure will be designed to support a focal prefab truss feature that can be seen from the open lobby area.

Meadowview Executive Conference Center

Project Description:
The Meadowview Executive Conference Center will be adding a 41,000 sq-ft building expansion to the site.  The expansion will feature two amphitheaters, several board rooms, and a large ball room.  In addition to the building expansion, a new 39,000 sq-ft parking deck will be introduced.  Due to grade conditions, cast in place concrete retaining/foundation walls and tied back soldier pile walls will be required, adding complexity to the project.

North Point Community Church Access Bridge Project

Alpharetta, GA

 

Project Description:

Initial concept design for this crossing proposed a (7)-span approximately 793’ long bridge over “Big Creek” in Alpharetta, Georgia along with the accompanying infrastructure to support the development. The proposed development area will be approximately 4.09 acres. The project will also include the construction of a designated Greenway Area that will include pedestrian / bikeways that will connect to the existing trails on the east and west side of Big Creek. This project will allow connecting the parking lot for the Northpoint Community Church with Brookside Parkway.
