Education: BSBE, Option: Forest Engineering / 2006 – Auburn University

Experience: Luke has been with Haines, Gipson & Associates, Inc since 2006. He has over 3 years of Civil engineering and project management experience.  Over the years, Luke has served as Project Manager for several commercial retail projects. Responsibilities include site layout, utility routing, grading, storm and sanitary sewer layout and design, erosion and sedimentation control, hydrology studies and report production, storm water management facility design, horizontal and vertical alignment, road design, project management, permitting, drafting with AutoCAD Land Development Desktop and AutoCAD Civil 3D. Some of his design/project management experience includes: erosion and sediment control for Runway 1028 Non-Licensed Vehicle Road at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport; East Village, a 40-acre commercial development located in Roswell, GA; Victory Square, a 35-acre re-development located in Savannah, GA; Luke has also taken part in the design of additional commercial projects ranging from 20-acres to 295-acres. Lastly, Luke has taken a major leadership roll in the Civil Engineering Department in the field of AutoCAD & IT management. Luke has spearheaded the effort to develop our current company standards and templates for AutoCAD Civil 3D. With this effort, Luke has been able to ensure that our production is ahead of our competitors. Luke has developed our new (and improved) AutoCAD templates and standard drawings for a great majority of our clients such as Target Corporation. He also continues to be instrumental in the research of new methods and technologies that can enhance our civil engineering designs with the goal of maximizing our productivity and surpass our clients’ expectations.
