Education: BSCE – Georgia Tech, 1997
       MSCE – University of South Carolina, 2009 
David has been employed by HGA since 2014, but also worked with the firm from 1997-2008.  He has been a project manager on a vast array of projects including retail, industrial, institutional, and bridges. Additionally, he has performed structural engineering at locations across the U.S. including areas of high seismic and wind loads. He has experience in all aspects required for project completion including fee and cost estimations, structural design and detailing, drafting, project coordination across disciplines, and construction administration. David’s goal for each project is to provide economical and safe designs, within the prescribed budget, and with minimal field issues during construction. David attained his PE license in Georgia in 2002, and recently passed the 16-Hour NCEES Structural Engineering Exam.  Some projects of note under David’s supervision are: Riverwatch Movie Theatre – Augusta, GA; Southchase Spec. Building – Greenville, SC; Shops at Tamiami Crossing – Naples, FL; Lindbergh Parking Deck – Atlanta, GA; Best Buy Distribution Center – Buford, GA; and numerous Carmax stores across the U.S. Finally, David recently wrote a study guide to help prospective SE exam takers with multiple choice bridge questions.
