Since its beginning in the founder's basement in 1968, Haines, Gipson & Associates, Inc. has grown and developed over the past 38+ years into an established Structural & Civil engineering company providing services to a wide variety of industrial, governmental, commercial, and institutional clients. In addition to the knowledge & wisdom accumulated as a company over the years, the diverse background of our individual engineers adds valuable insight into the creative problem-solving process. Academically, our engineers hold degrees from some of the best schools in the south, including Georgia Tech, Auburn, Clemson, the Citadel, Tennessee and Southern Tech. Professionally, our various personnel contribute experience from private practice, multi-discipline A/E firms, governmental agencies, as well as the military.

Our current staff is composed of 16 registered Professional Engineers (registered in 43 states and the District of Columbia), 10 registered Engineers-In-Training, as well as other production and administrative personnel.  Our company is large enough to meet the needs of our clients, yet small enough to adjust to the ever-changing demands of our professional environment.

At HGA, we utilize state-of-the-art computer technology for design, analysis, and drafting, while never forgetting the cardinal premise of computing that "garbage in = garbage out".  Therefore each engineer is expected to proactively maintain a strong professional growth curve.
